LED lamps are more energy-saving than traditional incandescent lamps. Why are some LED lamps still high in power consumption?

It is mainly related to three factors: 1. False power labeling of lamps. Some inferior LED lamps have inconsistent labeled power with the actual power, and the actual power is higher, which naturally increases power consumption; 2. Low luminous efficiency. High-quality LED lamps can reach a luminous efficiency of 100-150lm/W, while inferior lamps may be lower than 80lm/W. To achieve the same brightness, more electrical energy is required; 3. Low efficiency of the driving power supply. The driving power supply is responsible for converting alternating current into direct current. If the efficiency is too low, part of the electrical energy will be converted into heat and wasted. Choosing LED lamps with high-efficiency driving power supplies is more energy-saving.
